Acne Tips

Top 10 Tips on How to Improve Acne Condition
1 Keep Your Face Clean
It is important to maintain a clean skin . Use proper cleanser to cleanse your face at least 2-3 times a day. OXY Deep Cleansing Wash is recommended for oily and acne-prone skin. If you have acne, use Acne Wash.
2 Do Not Pop Pimples
There is always a temptation to squeeze pimples. Our hands have oil on them and of course bacteria too, both of which can make acne worse. Squeezing the pimple may cause the bacteria from the pimple to spread further into the skin and causing more inflammation and infection. Squeezing the pimples may also cause scars. Use Pimple Treatment on affected areas to treat pimples and prevent new pimples from forming.
3 Remove Makeup Before Sleeping
Don't go to bed with makeup on. This also clogs your skin pores and can make your acne worse.
4 Drink Water
Drink several glasses of water a day to flush out the toxins in your body and skin.
5 Improve Your Diet
Your skin, like anything in the human body, benefits from a good diet. Make sure you get good intake of micronutrients from fruits and vegetables.
6 Exercise Regularly
Stress could be one of the causes for acne to flare up. Exercising will help to reduce stress and promote a healthier living.
7 Protect Your Skin From The Sun
Always use a sunscreen with at least SPF 15. Sun rays will damage follicular walls and these lesions will trigger an inflammatory response (acne breakouts). Sun rays will also dry out the skin and increase the risk of skin cancer and early aging of the skin.
8 Wash Your Hair Regularly
If you have long hair, it is important to wash it as often as necessary to keep the oil away. If you can't avoid hair sprays or gels altogether, try to keep them and your hair away from your face because they can clog pores.
9 Use Non-Comedogenic Products
When purchasing cosmetics, sunscreen or other skin care products, make sure the label reads non-comedogenic (won't clog pores). These products will not clog your pores and therefore won't cause or make your acne worse.
10 Be Patient
The goal of all acne treatments is to get rid of existing blemishes and to prevent new ones from forming. Unfortunately this doesn't happen overnight. Results are generally seen in a few weeks, but may take up to 8 weeks or more. So give your acne treatment a fighting chance. Be patient and you will see the results.
